Biography

George G Slater II is Principal of Slater & Associates, Elder Law Attorneys, located in Carmel, Indiana.  He has practiced law for twenty-six years, and has limited his practice to Elder Law for the past sixteen years.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of Medicaid, estate planning, guardianships, probate, living trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, health care decision making, and nursing home issues.  George holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University, a law degree from Indiana University, and is also a CPA.  He has conducted numerous seminars and lectures on Elder Law issues.  He served as Chairman of the Indiana State Bar Association Elder Law Committee for five years and is incoming chairman of the Indiana State Bar Solo & Small Practice Section.  George is Board Certified by the National Elder Law Foundation.
